BTW helterskelter I have been looking around the for some inspiration on surrealism. I love it and I have found a few master pieces, excellent works. It is worth a shot, I will have to work hard to achieve it.
My very good frien Imran found a way to use photoshop to get the effect. Here 1 > Select the area for which the colour has to be reserved. 2 > Cut it. 3 > Create a new Layer and paste the area in that. 4 > Align it so that the image looks ok 5 > Select the layer that has to be stripped off colours 6 > Now set the Hue and the Saturation of that layer to zero 7 > be Happy

This effect that your camera is giving you is ULTIMATE. I love it. Am going to sit now and think about how to do it in Photoshop.
have you tried utilising surrealist techniques ?
